Elementor Forms

Autonami integrates with Elementor forms.

You can use Elementor to build forms only if you’re using Elementor PRO.

Let's consider a scenario - if someone selects a particular option in the form, we'll send them a follow-up email.

Step 1: Create a Form in Elementor

Search “Form” in the widget search box of Elementor and then drag & drop the widget on the screen.

Next, customize the fields in your form and publish the form:

Now your Elementor form is ready.

Step 2: Go to Automani >> Add new automation >> Select ‘Elementor’ from the drop-down

Next, select form submits under Forms > Elementor:

Step 3: Select the form from the drop down and map the email address filed (if exists)

After you select the event, choose the form that you just created from the drop-down.

Take a look:

You can map the email address field as shown below:

Step 4: Select ‘Conditional Action’ >> Set up the rule

The add action button (+ sign) will appear once after you save the event. Choose between direct and conditional action.

Select ‘Conditional Action’ for this case:

When you do that, you will see the rule-builder on the right side of your screen.

Select the rule ‘Form Field’ from the drop-down.

See here:

Next, select the field “Are you interested in trying out Autonami?” from the drop-down and enter its exact value, i.e., “Hell yes!”

Here’s how:

Note that you need to enter the exact field value here as it is in the form.

Step 5: Select ‘Send email’ as action and craft your email body

You’ll find it in the select action drop-down:

Next, craft your email and personalize the content using merge tags.

Here’s how:

Autonami gives you all the options to write the email subject line, headline, body copy using merge tags for personalization. This panel on the side is collapsible for an easy editing experience.

Once done, click outside the panel and the changes would automatically be saved.

Step 6: Make your automation live and test it out

Click on the toggle button that appears at the top right corner of the Autonami screen.

You’ll see the color changes from orange to green, as shown below:

This means that your automation is now live and running.

Next, to test out this automation, go to Pages >> Select ‘All Pages’ >> Click on the ‘View’ option for viewing your form.

Check the ‘Hell yes!’ radio button and then hit ‘Send’.

When filled out, your form should look like this:

When you hit the ‘Send’ button, you should receive an email in your inbox:

There you go!

So this was just one of the use cases of using Elementor forms with Autonami.
