Groundhogg is a WordPress-based plugin that lets you create funnels, marketing automations and email campaigns.

Autonami integrates with Groundhogg to help you set up automation and perform various actions.

Once you have installed and activated the Groundhogg plugin, you also need to install the addon. Here is the link to download your addon.

Now that you have installed and activated both the Groundhogg and addon, let's learn how to run automations in Autonami using Groundhogg-related actions.


Here is a list of actions that you get with Groundhogg in Autonami:

  • Add tags - Add a particular tag to your contact.
  • Create contact - Add a contact on your Groundhogg account.
  • Remove tags - Remove a particular tag from your contact.
  • Update fields - Update a particular field on your contact.

To set up an action, select an event.

For example, we have selected the event - WooCommerce order created.

Now, define an action. Here we have selected Create Contact.

This is the automation we'll create - Every time an order gets placed on your store, contact will be created on your Groundhogg account.

Enter the following data with the help of merge tags.

Now, click on the merge tags.

Enter the field name, select and copy the merge tags.

Paste the copied tags on the field provided.

Once done, click on the workflow to save your automation.

Turn the toggle to "Active" to make your automation go live.

Now when anyone makes a purchase on your WooCommerce store, they will get added as contacts on your Groundhogg account like this:
